TH2 is out of his league here and aint gonna argue with that.

Perhaps you might post something on this matter or, even more, submit an article...say to First Things or whatever periodical / website you deem appropriate. It would be a fascinating and (ultimately) devastating analysis of the hordes.

Just a humble suggestion.TH2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02375386482765377541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31669215.post-91644037792115170852009-11-27T19:58:19.855-07:002009-11-27T19:58:19.855-07:00TH2, re canon and civil lawyers: the habitless hor...TH2, re canon and civil lawyers: the habitless hordes did consult canon lawyers. But the Non-Catholic Reporter also says they consulted civil lawyers as well. The idea that they would even think about trying to get secular courts to intervene on purely Church matters (a) doesn't surprise me, as seeking court intervention is a typical liberal trick, at least in the U.S.; and (b) frosts me to no end. The secular courts have no jurisdiction in this area, and should not even be invited to try and exercise any. The real purpose of the First Amendment is precisely to protect Church from state (not, as the antinomians have it, the other way around).

Plus, there is 1 Corinthians 6:1:

When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Anita Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11305092097247290243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31669215.post-72091353799948963442009-11-27T14:24:07.548-07:002009-11-27T14:24:07.548-07:00Like I said some weeks ago when you wrote about th...Like I said some weeks ago when you wrote about this, it all comes down the $$$. Take out "Nuns" and put in the name of just about any other ponzi scam artist who is initially under investigation and it flows the the same in terms of defiance, anger and "shock." The Vatican shouldn't investigate - they should march to US federal court and file charges for fraud.Trying Not to Be That Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03803779459157316556noreply@blogger.com
