There's a reason we're referred to as the 'Church Militant.'<BR/><BR/>What you say in your second-to-last paragraph is so true, though I've never thought of it before. When the faith is 'made easy,' at a parish, I see very few willing to even to do the easy. But when the parishioners are challenged to fight the battle, for instance at the college my older brother attends, the pews are packed. They rise up to that challenge. They've been told in firm words that it's their duty, and excuses for sitting back won't be tolerated.
