Just what we need: Planned Parenthood intends to open a new office in Idaho sometime in the next year or two.
Planned Parenthood already has offices in Boise (which has at least half a dozen other abortion clinics, including one across the street from a Catholic church), Twin Falls and Nampa. Probably this new one will be situated in such a way as to cull the surplus population of northern Idaho rubes, hicks and hayseeds.

I think we should push for a law here in Idaho to redefine abortion as ambulatory urgery and require those clinics to adhere to the same standards. No doubt the one on La Cassia would fail that standard. I bet others would as well. I believe the governor of Missouri just signed such a bill into law.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you've never seen that clinic on La Cassia, you'd have little doubt. Real classy tag-board sign in the front window with "Women's Health Clinic" in magic maker.
You know what I think? I think we should go all the way and push for an amendment to the Idaho Constitution defining life as beginning at the moment of conception. Let them take it all the way to the Supreme Court: maybe now is the time for it.
ReplyDeleteDistressing to hear about PP's plans to expand further into ID. In MN, we have been fortunate lately to have a crisis pregnancy center that will have Adoration move right next door to an abortion mill in Robbinsdale (suburb of Mpls); and closer to home for me, Total Life Care Centers is moving it's office that is currently down the block from PP in St. Paul to a new, very visible location, a door away from PP, which will also have Adoration.
